BreakOut Brainstorming is a highly effective, facilitated brainstorming process that unleashes the creative thinking of a group and taps into the power of working collectively as a team. BreakOut Brainstorming is used successfully to identify compelling insights and to develop new product concepts, names, promotional and merchandising ideas, packaging ideas, and creative solutions to a wide-range of business needs that "break outside the box."
A common use of BreakOut Brainstorming is a two-day positioning exercise that helps clients build the competitive landscape for a particular category and develop the positioning pyramids for the brands or products that inhabit it.
Both internal members and outside experts are encouraged to attend the sessions. The IdeaMine can also supplement a session with outside creative thinkers, our own Ideaminers!
The IdeaMine also has a service called Brains@Work. Brains@Work is a brainstorming resource (a creative SWAT team of sorts) that provides a highly creative panel of "ideaminers" who have a proven track record of striking "gold" when they go mining. All panel members live in St. Louis and are brought together for four-hour blocks to work with clients in a unique, brainstorming process designed to generate meaningful insights, names, product concepts, positioning taglines, claims and new articulations of benefits.
